On the morning of July 1st, Professor Kato Mario Takayuki with the other distinguished guests in Federal University of Pernambuco, visited XPU. President Gao Yong met visiting guests in VIP lounge of Jinhua campus. People in charge of the International Office, the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, Science and Technology Department attended the talks.

President Gao Yong welcomed the visiting guests firstly and then introduced the history of XPU briefly. He talked about that the school should adhere to the characteristics of school and continue to explore training mode of the combination between art and engineering, focusing on the cultivation of artistic expertise and engineering skills.In recent years, the implementation of the “Excellent Engineer Program” and the use of hardware facilities such as “Fashion Culture Creativity Industry Park” in our university aim to promote the integration and promotion of students’ ability. At the same time, we hope that two universities will have cooperation in many aspects and fields such as short-time exchange of students and teachers.

After the meeting, the guests visited the Fashion Culture Creativity Industry Park and Training Center of Engineering.

Federal University of Pernambuco, short for UFP, is one of the most important 10 top universities in Brazil. Professor Kato Mario Takayuki visited XPU in 2013, and he will visited our school again in June, 2016.
