On the afternoon of March 20, Xin Haozhong, Director of Institute of Textile and Clothing of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Calvin Wong and Luo Mei, Vice President of Cooperation and Promotion Committee visit XPU. President Gao Yong first on behalf of the university in the VIP lounge of old campus gave a cordial welcome to the visiting guests, and people in charge of Management College, International Office and Graduate Department attended the meeting.
During the meeting, President Gao Yong pointed out that the contract renewal on our cooperative master program of Textile and Clothing will open a new era of cooperation. It is the tenth year for us to enroll the new students and we have cultivated groups of talents full of professional knowledge and international horizons in the field of Textile and Apparel.
Director Xin Haozhong introduced that Textile and Clothing of Hong Kong Polytechnic University had a high reputation in
Asia and he looked forward to the further cooperation on both the scientific research and teaching exchanges sides.
The collaboration between XPU and Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the marketing design of Textile and Apparel has been the 8th one. Up to now, 97 students are studying in this program, and previous 252 students have successfully graduated and obtained their master degrees from Hong Kong Polytechnic University .
