September 12, 2016 was the traditional Islamic festival Corban Festival. Meal coupons for free dinner were handed out to Hui minority and Uygur students and a festival gala was held in Muslin canteen in Lintong Campus. A variety of drinks, fruits and Corban Festival delicacy were specially prepared for students. Singing and dancing, minority students and some student representatives of Han race enjoyed a happy get-together.
