On December 26th, 2016,China University Industrial Design Competition came to the end at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. XPU won the Excellent Organization Award. Wang Yan, the teacher of School of Apparel and Art Design of XPU, won the Excellent Instructor Award. XPU won 12 awards in total including 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 7 excellent prizes. There are a great number of works winning awards:Children’ s Portable Toiletdesigned by Zheng Tingdan won the first prize and the national excellent prize,Safe Bottledesigned by Fan Kaixian, Zhang Rui and Jiang Chen won the provincial first prize,Portable Paper Cupdesigned by Zhou Peng,the Design ofNewborn-stick stoolby Wang Tao,Through Your Eyesby Du Zhuo and Wang Tao,Originalityby Wang Heqi andthe Design of Lamps and Laternsby Zhou Pengwon the provincial excellent prizes.
