On January 9th, the first “Datang Cup” Socks Art Design Final Competition was held in Zhuji, Zhejiang province. The competition was jointly organized by the people’s government of Zhuji,China Textile and Apparel Education Society, Higher Education Textile Major Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education, and hosted by people's government of the town of Datang and XPU.

A total of 3760 designs were collected from 62 universities. After the evaluation of the expert review, 5 gold awards, 10 silver awards, 15 bronze awards and 5 individual awards were given and 28 outstanding instructors, 15 outstanding organizations were awarded.

My shoesby Xumiao andMagic Partry Atzooby Zhangnan from School of Apparel and Art Design of XPU won the gold awards;Zujieby Baizhiyuan andFoot Amorby Baiyu won the silver awards;Yuan Sheng Taiby Xia Sibing won the bronze award. In addition,My Shoeswas given the prize for the best ideas, andZujiewas given the prize of the best patterns. Four teachers of School of Apparel and Art Design were awarded as the outstanding instructors and School of Apparel and Art Design was awarded as the outstanding organization.
