On December 8, 2017, XPU held  "2017 College Students Winter Long-distance Race" at Lintong Campus. Nearly 2,000 faculties and students attended the event, including Vice Secretary of XPU CPC commitee Zhao Xiaofeng, Vice President Wu Xuandi, Vice President Fan Zenglu, heads of relevant departments and teaching units.

Over the years, XPU attaches great importance to the all-round development of college students, with PE teaching and extracurricular sports activities as the main methods to improve the health of students and has actively organized various long-distance running and other sports activities.
