On 25th September, a teacher-student choruses competition was held in Lintong Campus, which aimed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China

There were 18 teams and each team performed two songs. The songs are Defend the Yellow River, Ode to the Motherland and The Same Song, and so on. Some schools presented their discipline features through the performance. School leaders joined the teams and sang together for the birthday of China and send their best wishes .

XPU’s president Gao Ling delivered a speech expressing the determination and ambition to forge ahead and build XPU into a renown university with distinctive characteristics.

Finally, School of Apparel and Art Design won the Grand Prize; School of Environment and Chemical Engineering won the First Prize. (Trans-edited: Wang Huan)
