On the 26th May, 2019, China-Japan-Korea Urban Architecture Culture Forum was held in the auditoriumonthe first floor of the library in Lintong Campus. With the theme of "Chinese, Japanese and Korean Urban Architectural Culture", the conference focused on urban architectural planning, urban post-disaster rehabilitation and the inheritance and innovation of architectural culture in the context of the new era, aiming at exploring the new direction of urban development.
In the morning of 26th May, Ma Yun held the opening ceremony; Li Pengfei, Vice President of XPU, Xichuan zaizhi, Honorary Professor of Kyoto University, and Buye Xiusi, Professor of Nihon University made their speeches. The forum was hosted by Prof. Duan Lianru. The experts from three countries conducted extensive exchanges and shared innovative achievements from the formation and development of Korea Yi City, the relationship between urban development pattern, path, and urban space and pattern along the "One Belt and One Road", etc.
The forum aimed at promoting the coordinated development of urban culture, politics, economy, society and ecology, and provided valuable strategic guidance for the sustainable development of urban and rural areas in China.
