On March 15, Forum on Development of Industrial Informatization in Western China co-sponsored by Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Shaanxi Provincial Communications Administration was held at Xi'an Qujiang International Conference & Exhibition Center. Li Pengfei, Vice President of XPU, and his delegation participated in the forum. On the forum, experts and scholars from Intelligent Manufacturing Laboratory of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Northwest Polytechnical University and Chang'an University offered suggestions for Shaanxi's informatization, digitalization and intellectualization development from different perspectives. Huang Xinbo, deputy director of Shaanxi Department of Industry and Information Technology made are porttitled with status quo and thinking of big data industry in Shaanxi Province on the forum, which provided suggestions and strategies for the further development of Shaanxi's informatization. Huang Xinbo, together with Li Pengfei, presided over the launching ceremony of Shaanxi Industrial Information Innovation and Development Alliance.

On the same day, Symposium on Industrial Internet Technology and Application organized by School of Computer Science of Xi'an Polytechnic University and Xi'an Zhongfu Software Co., Ltd., was held at Xi'an Qujiang International Conference & Exhibition Center. The theme of this meeting is Intelligent future of industrial interconnection. Over 200 people attended the symposium, including Li Pengfei, Vice-President of XPU, Xue Tao, Dean of School of Computer Science of XPU, Zhu Yaolin, Vice-Director of Science and Technology Department of XPU, Xue Tieying, Director of Electronic Information and Software Services Department of Xi'an Industry and Information Bureau, Kong Xianguang, Director of Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Data Research Center of Xidian University, and experts in IT companies.

Li Pengfei made a brilliant speechon the symposium, and briefly introduced the development and scientific research of XPU. Xue Tao made a theme report entitled Opportunities and Challenges - Intelligent Manufacturing in the Big Data Era. Experts also exchanged ideas on the symposiumfrom aspects of industrial analysis, technical reports, platform analysis and application sharing of industrial Internet.
