On the morning of September 2nd, the 4th Sino-Korean Student Environmental Exchange Forum was held on the theme of “Beautiful Earth, I am an actor” in Room 202 of the University Student Activity Center of Lintong Campus. The meeting was attended by the 11th “Future Forest” Green Earth Group member of the 17th “Future Forest”, led by Jin Hujie, Director of the Foreign Exchange Department of the “Future Forest”. Wang Xiaoxian, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, Dean of the School of Urban Planning and Municipal Engineering Ma Yun, party secretary Yang Youyi, deputy secretary of the party committee Yuan Qun and 20 people who went to Kubuqi to participate in summer social practice. The meeting was hosted by Yuan Qun.
On behalf of the engineering university, Wang Xiaoxian welcomed the “Future Lin” and his party to come to our school to exchange ideas. He said that our school has cooperated with "Future Forest" for many years and has formed a profound friendship with each other. We hope to bring together the green ideas of the young Chinese and Korean students and work together to promote the unremitting efforts of the university to build a beautiful earth and beautiful China. Volunteers can use this communication platform to broaden their horizons and enhance the sense of mission and responsibility of young people to serve the society. Later, Jin Hujie, director of the Foreign Exchange Department of the “Future Forest” China Headquarters, expressed the hope that “Future Lin” and Xi’an Engineering University will have more extensive and in-depth exchanges in desert governance and environmental protection volunteering.
Ma Yun introduced the background of the establishment of the School of Urban Planning and Municipal Engineering and the achievements of the College in environmental protection. Members of the “Future Forest” are welcome to take this opportunity to visit and understand the environmental protection project of our school. She said that she persists in environmental volunteer activities and can gain strength and sense of accomplishment from nature. She hopes that students will work hard to implement environmental volunteer activities.
Finally, Yang Youyi affirmed the achievements of the cooperation between the college and the “Future Forest”, and put forward the following three expectations for the future cooperation and exchanges and environmental protection volunteer work: First, strengthen friendly cooperation and maintain deep friendship; Second, the carrier of innovation activities To spread the green concept; the third is to strengthen the ideals and beliefs and pursue spiritual strength. During the meeting, the representatives of “Future Forest” students introduced the current situation of the Kubuqi Desert Governance and the classification of wastes around the world. The representatives of the School of Urban Planning and Municipal Engineering shared their achievements in the Kubuqi Desert. The Chinese and Korean students also made in-depth exchanges on how to carry out environmental protection volunteer activities more broadly, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in environmental protection and humanities exchanges.
