Recently, Shaanxi Provincial Education Department published the list of 2019 Shaanxi Higher Institution Science and Technology Award. With expert evaluation, deliberation by Award Committee and approval by Council of Provincial Education Department, 195 scientific achievements were awarded. In total,14 scientific research achievements of XPU received awards, among which researchers from XPU hosted 1 project offirst prize, 8 projects of second prize, 3 projects of third prize, and participated1 project offirst prize and 1 project of second prize.

This year, totally 21 scientific achievements from XPU applied for Shaanxi Higher Institution Science and Technology Award. XPU ranks top among all the provincial universities in Shaanxi in term of the amount of achievements applying for the award. In the process of application, Science and Technology Department of XPU held several mobilization meeting sencouraging establishment of cross-collegeand cross-disciplinary teams, organized expert evaluation, and carefully reviewed the application materials, which contributed a lot to the gratifying result in the application for the Award.
