On the evening of April 18th, the final of the 7th“Shishi Cup”National College Graduate Garment Design Competition was held at Minnan University of Science and Technology. In the end, Mei Qianqian, the student of class of 2014 of School of Apparel and Art Design, won the gold award of woman clothing team in this competition by virtue of her work“Seeking out Hermit”; Wu Wenyu, won the silver award of man clothing team with his work“Classic of Mountains and Seas”, Wang Wenli and Tian Baohua, the teachers of School of Apparel and Art Design, won the excellent instructor award.
On April 19th, the final of 2018 The Charm of Oriental China International Underwear Creative Design Contest was held successfully at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Huang Liping (currently the post-graduate of Ergonomics of Underwear),the underwear class of 2012 of School of Apparel and Art Design and Tang Qiaoyun, the underwear class of 2010 won the first prize of regular group and the most commercial value award by virtue of the work“The sun illuminates the day, and the moon illuminates the night”; and the student Qu Ke, underwear class of 2013 won the second prize of regular group with work“Unordered”; Ma Zhenjia, the underwear class of 2012, also won the second prize of professional group with the work“X”. In addition, Chen Xiaohong and Zhou wen, the underwear class of 2014 won the excellent prize of regular group.
On April 20th, the final of 2018 Embry Form China International Homewear Creative Design Competition was held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Jing Ziwei, the student of underwear class of 2014 of School of Apparel and Art Design, won the gold award and the most commercial value award with the work“Happiness of Reunion”, and Xia Mingwei, the student in the excellent class of 2016 won the excellent award in this competition.
On the April 21st, the works of the 4th China Mohair Fashion Design Competition were exhibited in the performance hall on the second floor of Shaw Building, Donghua University. And the awards was presented to the winners. Yuan Renjie, the student in the excellent class of 2015 of School ofApparel and Art Design, won the champion, best design award and bonus of 18,000 yuan.
