On the morning of November 27th, Professor, Christopher David White, Director of the Designing Department of the Art School in Whitireia Community Polytechnic University, with Senior Lecturer, Brenda Saris visited XPU. Teachers in charge of the School of Apparel and Art Design had academic communications and discussions with visiting guests.

After the meeting, Professor, Christopher David White and Senior Lecturer, Brenda Saris visited the Fashion Culture Creativity Industry Park of XPU, expressing their appreciation on training models and works of Art Design majors during the visit.

On the afternoon of that day, two experts delivered a lecture on “Art and Creativity” to undergraduate students of related majors in Lintong campus.

Whitireia Community Polytechnic University is the friendly cooperated university on New Zealand, and leaders of both sides met in January, 2015.

On the morning of December 2nd, Sergy Zengin, Director of International Office in KGIK, with Xu Jiayu, Director of Educational Cooperation with China visited XPU. People in charge of the International Office, the School of Apparel and Art Design, the School of Art Engineering met visiting guests in VIP lounge of Jinhua campus. Firstly, two sides introduced their own universities’ histories briefly. Then, the deep communication on cooperation was carried out. Ms, Sergy Zengin hoped that two sides would cooperate on teachers’ visiting, students of combined training and short-time exchange.

KGIK was found in 1967, and high education included courses on bachelor, master and Phd. The university has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents in the field of art and culture for Russia.
