According to the situation of COVID-19 at home and abroad, Shaanxi has recently adjusted the immigration quarantine measures, and will equally implement the corresponding measures on both Chinese citizens and foreign visitors who are going to enter into Shaanxi in order to protect the safety of the overseas people who are going to come to Shaanxi, including Chinese citizens. The main contents are as follows:
01 Strengthen entry-port sanitation and epidemic prevention
According to the Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People’s Republic of China and other laws and regulations, it is important to strengthen the quarantine and inspection of entry personnel, strictly implementing the entry health declaration system, and also entry-port personnel body-temperature monitoring and medical inspection.
02 Determine the classification of entry personnel
According to the COVID-19 Port Prevention and Control Technology Plan, the entry personnel should be classified according to the relevant criteria: those with COVID-19 symptoms, close contacts, general contacts, and other personnel (divided into those with travel and resident experience in serious epidemic area and those without within 14 days).
03 Scientific implementation on the classified groups control
Those with COVID-19 symptoms should be transferred to designated medical institutions for isolation and investigation. Close contacts should be transferred to designated hotels for centralized isolation and medical observation for 14 days. General contacts: they shall be taken back by the relevant departments at the destination and kept in isolation for 14 days. Other personnel: those who have resided in countries or regions with severe epidemic situation within 14 days, such as those staying in Shaanxi, shall be taken back by the relevant departments of the destination, and be intensively isolated for medical observation for 14 days; those who transfer to other means of transportation in Shaanxi shall be transferred from Xianyang airport of Xi’an. Personnel who has no resident experience in any country or region with serious epidemic situation within 14 days, shall be supervised by the community, hotel or reception and shall be required for the 14 days resident medical observation if they stay in Shaanxi; Personnel who will transfer to other means of transportation in Shaanxi, only needs to register and report the entry health information.
04 Inform the passengers inadvance
Issue Entry Notice to passengers on the flight to Xi’an and inform relevant measures and requirements of Shaanxi in advance.
05 Designated medical treatment
The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University is a provincial designated hospital for the treatment of confirmed foreign cases. All cities (districts) have designated hospitals for treatment of imported cases.
