On the morning of July 9th, XPU held the 2020 graduate representatives’ symposium in the conference room of the Lintong campus library. Students participating in the symposium represented different groups who went to the frontiers of the country, grass-roots employment, exemption and admission to master (doctor) graduate students, minority students, and employment in enterprises and institutions. They shared their study, life and personal growth and good times at XPU, showing nostalgia and gratitude for the university their teachers and classmates.

President Gao Ling interacted with the students during the discussion, appreciating their opinions and suggestions for the development of XPU.Then he gave an introduction on the long history of XPU’s development, advantages and characteristics, scale of teachers, professional settings, etc., and called on everyone to continue to pay close attention to and support the alma mater after graduation, and actively participate in the development and construction of XPU. With their efforts, XPU will get better and better.

Finally, Principal Gao Ling put forward three expectations to all the graduates from the following three aspects: how to understand the nature of university, how to think about the true meaning of graduation, and how to deal with the future.
