On 30 May,2019 witnessed the close of the Third National Textile Colleges Creation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. It was sponsored by Tianjin PolytechnicUniversity.

After the fierce competition, XPU’s postgraduate students Wang Chao’s project: Resin Based the World High-strength, High-modulus and Thermal Insulation Textile, and Tang Qi’s project Glass Cleaning: Glass Self-cleaning as well as Ma Chunyan’s project 3D Dynamic Display System Development of Ancient Costume stood out in the final 72 teams from about 20 colleges and won two third-prizes. The competition further stimulates undergraduates’ zeal of creation and entrepreneurship, cultivates new force of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, builds a platform for students in textile colleges to communicate projects, resource docking and project incubation.
