In order to celebrate the 106th anniversary of XPU and the 40th anniversary of the independent school, "XPU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition" hosted by the Engineering Training Center and Graduate School were grandly opened in the Engineering Center Building on the afternoon of October 17. Principal Gao Ling, Vice president Li Pengfei, Wang Jinfu, alumni guests, corporate guests, the heads of relevant departments of XPU and some teachers and students attended the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Vice President Li Pengfei. In the warm welcome of the audience, Vice President Wang Jinfu made an opening speech, and the school leaders and alumni representatives opened the ribbon-cutting. The purpose of this exhibition is to summarize and demonstrate some of the achievements of the school in the implementation of "double innovation", mainly reflecting the changes in education ideas and concepts and reform initiatives, planning and construction of innovative education platforms, and rich innovative educational activities and the results of the education achieved. The exhibition forms included: static display of text pictures, display of innovative works, open experience of advanced device technology and road show of projects.
The guests,the teachers and students of XPU visited the introduction of innovation and entrepreneurship education, the display of innovative works and project road shows, various robot technology demonstrations and engineering experience of engineering training centers. Advanced concepts and technologies, novel display materials, rich content and achievements had aroused great enthusiasm for everyone. Leaders often interacted with makers and outstanding entrepreneurs, air robots, human-computer interaction robots, and the atmosphere was very lively. Finally, the leaders,alumni guests and representatives of innovative and entrepreneurial students sat around the “Chuangke Coffee”.President Gao listened to the impression of the exhibition and briefly introduced the reforms made by the school in innovation and entrepreneurship education in recent years and affirmed the work of the exhibition, and raised higher hopes and requirements. Alumni expressed their joy and enthusiasm for the achievements of school education, exchanged innovative and entrepreneurial experiences with the makers, encouraged the students to study diligently, strive to innovate, and worthy to the superior environment created by the school. Alumni will work together to help XPU’s innovation and entrepreneurship education take it to the next level.
The exhibition continued to October 21, and would like to invite alumni at home and abroad, friends from all walks of life and teachers and students to share the achievements of XPU's innovation and entrepreneurship education,and understood the "double creation" education development and platform construction level of XPU, and guided and helped XPU deepen. The reform of education and teaching promoted the renewal of educational concepts and promoted the better development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in XPU.
