On September 26th, the Review Committee Meeting of the 2nd China “Datang Cup” National Socks Design Competition Finals was held at XPU.

At 8:30 in the morning, more than 10 judges from all over the country conducted a pre-judging meeting in the conference room on the third floor of the School of Fashion and Art Design. This sock industry competition and its packaging design competition is a high-profile competition in China. The judges for the competition come from well-known universities and industry leaders. Secretary-General of the China Textile and Apparel Education Association, member of the Textile Engineering Subcommittee of the Textiles Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and Member of the National Textile and Apparel Vocational Education Teaching Steering Committee Ji Xiaofeng attended the review meeting.

Dai Hong, Dean of the School ofApparel and Art Design, welcomed the judges from all over the country on behalf of the organizing committee of the competition and emphasized several important principle requirements for the competition review. Tian Baohua, deputy secretary-general of the organizing committee and deputy director of the School of Apparel and Art Design, explained the overall participation of the competition and the relevant details of the judgingprocess. Secretary-General Ji Xiaofeng gave a brief review of the previous situation of the Socks Design Competition at the meeting, and specifies the relevant requirements of the organizing committee for the review of this competition. It is reported that the number of colleges participating in this competition has increased from 36 in the previous session to 53 colleges and universities. The organizing committee has received thousands of entries from the country for the design of socks and outer packaging entries.
