On December 28, Ministry of Education issued Decision on Approving the 2018 National Teaching Achievement Awarded Projects and announced the awarded projects. Constructing and Implementing Talent Cultivation System Facing the Transformation and Upgrading of Textile Industry, a program hosted by Professor Liu Jiangnan and participated by Huang Xinbo, Wan Ming, Wang Jinfu, Zhao Xiaohui, Guo Wei, Lu Wei, Wang Jinmei, Liu Jing, won the second prize of National Teaching Achievement in Higher Education.

National Teaching Achievement Award, which is selected once every four years, is one of the four national awards alongside National Natural Science Award, National Technology Invention Award, and National Science and Technology Progress Award. It is the highest award in the field of education and teaching research approved by the State Council. Meanwhile, it represents the highest level of higher education teaching in China.

National Teaching Achievement Award is not only the result of the research and hard work of the project team, but also theuniversity’s long-term persistence on talents cultivation. Since the foundation of XPU, it is the first time that XPU obtains National Teaching Achievement Award in Higher Education. It is a new breakthrough in the history of XPU.
