On the afternoon of March 28th, the undergraduate students of XPU went to Hong Kong Polytechnic University has shared the achievements of leadership and innovation visiting practice project. The meeting was held in the lecture hall in Lintong campus. Those in attendance included Vice president Fan Zenglu, the persons in charge of Student Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, Youth League Committee, and International Office. The meeting was held by Chen Lixia, the Director of the International Office.
This is the first time that XPU supports students in the international exchange with full scholarship, aiming at promoting students’ leadership, innovation ability and international perspectives and establishing students’ elite consciousness. It has achieved gratifying achievements. In the future, XPUwill increase investment to encourage students to participate in all kinds of exchange activities.
Then, the students were divided into seven groups to report the achievements and experiences of course study, enterprise training through PPT, video, drama, music and so on.
Zhang Hui, the director of Student Affairs Office and Zhao Xiaohui, the deputy director of Academic Affairs Office delivered in-depth reports and shared their experiences of the training process from the concepts of education, the methods of teaching and resources allocation of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Vice president Fan Zenglu made a concluding statement. He firstly expressed congratulations on behalf of XPU to the members of this training group for finishing this task successfully, and expressed his gratitude to the faculty and staff who had been working diligently in various positions and have always supported international affairs. Then, Fan made a vivid inspirational report. He hoped that students could cherish the wonderful time in XPU and with the goal of realizing the Chinese dream of great Chinese rejuvenation.
