On the morning of April 27th, Tim Gilbert, Director of International Program and Zhang Zhimin, Director of Chinese Students Office of Melbourne Polytechnic visited XPU.
They had the symposium with teachers, students and administrators relevant to the cooperative education program and further discussed about how to improve students’ English proficiency, the initiative of learning and teaching models.
In the afternoon, people in charge of International Office, School of Applied Technology and Teaching Affairs Department welcomed the visiting guests in the VIP lounge of Lintong campus. During the past ten years, cooperation education program is successful and fruitful, and it will become better and better with the further consensus cooperation between Melbourne and XPU. Meanwhile, the cooperation between each other is not just limited to the cooperation education program itself, but open to other fields, such as teachers exchange, scientific cooperation and so on.
Subsequently, representatives of Australia had a meeting with students on campus to know the achievements and confusion during the study, and gave them an explanation about preparations for studying abroad in detail.
