On July 10, Anita Hamm, Director of International Office of Kwantlen Polytechnic University visited XPU. Vice President Fan Zenglu met her in the VIP room on Jinhua campus. People in charge of International Office, Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, Apparel and Art Design College and Art Engineering College attended the meeting.
Fan Zenglu gave a cordial welcome to visiting guests and introduced the history, the current situation and the progress in international cooperation of our university in recent years. He also expressed his wishes to have an in-depth cooperation on joint-training, staff exchange and collaborative researches with each other.
Anita Hamm offered information about Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She said that the specialty matching is high between the two schools, which is good for a deeper cooperation.
Zhang Xing, Dean of Apparel and Art Design College and Dai Hong, dean of Art Engineering College also introduced their own college on professional settings, development planning and international cooperation situation.
After the meeting, Anita Hamm visited the textile and clothing museum of the new campus. Besides, Kwantlen Polytechnic University has four campuses located in the Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia. More than 19,000 students attend Kwantlen campuses in Surrey, Richmond, Langley and Cloverdale, and among them about 1400 are international students. On November 25, 2013, Vice president of KPU paid a visit to XPU and signed a comprehensive cooperation memorandum.
