On June 23, Edward Alfano, Professor of the North Ridge Branch campus of California State University, and Prof. Magdy Rizk majoring in animation visited XPU. President Gao Yong welcomed the delegation in the VIP room on Jinhua campus. Persons in charge of International Office, Graduate School and Colleges of Art Engineering and Apparel and Art Design attended the meeting.
President Gao Yong first on behalf of the university gave a cordial welcome to the visiting guests and introduced the current situation of our university. He pointed out that we made great efforts to promote the international cooperation and exchange of scientific research program, and encouraged our teachers to go out to exchange and cooperate in-depth with experts over the world.
Professor Edward Alfanoa gave a brief overview of the school, a high degree of internationalization and a large number of international students, professional art assortment, especially in the design and animation. In the afternoon the two professors visited the new campus, textile and clothing museum and school history museum and had a further understanding about the history and current situation, and fully praised my school in the textile, apparel achievements.
North Ridge Branch campus of California State University is one of our most important partner universities. XPU annually selects outstanding students and teachers to participate in the joint training dual degree programs and short-term exchange programs. The school which was built in 1958, located in the San Fernando Valley suburb of Los Angeles, is a total of nine academy schools, with more than 60 undergraduate programs, 50 master's and a doctoral programs.
