On June 19th, 2020, the final defense of 12th "Hope Cup" College Student Entrepreneurship Contest session was hosted online, which was undertake by the XPU Science and Technology Association,

Through 3rounds of review, a total of 56 works were selected for the final review defense. The final defense is divided into four science innovation and future industry groups: textile, materials; mechanic, telecommunication, computer; urban governance and social services; ecological protection and sustainable development, rural revitalization and poverty alleviation, cultural creativity and regional cooperation. After the final review defense, the work that will ultimately represent XPU in the provincial competition will be selected.
