From October 21st to 23rd, “the Third Alumni Enterprise Recruitment Week of Xi'an Polytechnic University " was held successfully in two campuses. Alumni who came from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau, Hangzhou Bay, Jiangsu and Xi’an were all invited back to contribute to alma mater’s recruitment of excellent talents, school-enterprise cooperation, and the cultivation of students.
During this time, activities such as alumni forums, outstanding alumni report meetings were also carried out in succession.
Ma Wangqing , secretary of XPU CPC committee cordially received all alumni who participated in the recruitment week. Meanwhile, on behalf of the school, he expressed his sincere gratitude to the alumni associations of Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau, Hangzhou Bay and Xi'an for organizing alumni back to their alma mater to participate in the third alumni enterprise recruitment week, supporting the employment and promoting the educational development of their alma mater.
When attending recruitment week activities and seminars, President Gao Ling pointed out that under the severe employment situation in recent years, the cooperation between the school, alumni and alumni companies had achieved gratifying results, which promoted the reform of the school’s personnel training model for market demand and improved the quality of talent training. He hopes that XPU will further strengthen cooperation with alumni enterprises in some fields like school-enterprise industry cooperation, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, intellectual selection, and also innovate models and ways of cooperation, what’s more, promote the development of schools and enterprises to achieve "win-win" situation. He also hopes that the majority of alumni will continue to provide support and assistance to XPU's discipline construction, talent training and school resources, and jointly push forward the development of school education.
At the 3rd Alumni Enterprise Recruitment Week, XPU also particularly invited outstanding people from Weinan High-tech Zone and Lianyungang to recruit talents. At the same time, some state-owned enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises and high-quality private employers were invited to participate in this forum. Together with alumni companies, more than 300 employers took part in the recruitment week, and offline recruitment activities were carried out in Jinhua and Lintong campuses to fully guarantee the steady and orderly employment of graduates.
Those enterprises which were invited involved 21 provinces and cities including Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu. At the scene, there was an endless stream of students who came to apply for jobs, and the atmosphere was harmonious. The recruiters patiently and carefully explained the basic situation of the company, development prospects, job requirements, salary as well as other issues to the students. According to statistics, this activity provided a total of 10,802 positions, involving mechanical design and manufacturing, electrical engineering, electronic information, civil engineering, chemical and pharmaceutical, engineering, business administration, textiles, light chemical, design and Digital media, network computer, marketing and other majors basically covered all majors in XPU. More than 3,000 graduates participated in the three days. This alumni company recruitment week provided a full range of job opportunities and built more employment platforms for graduates.
