From October 13th to 14th, the 7th National College Model Collective Negotiation Competition hosted by the Labor Relations Branch of the China Human Resources Development Research Association and Shandong Management College, was held at the Shandong Management College. 68 teams from 34 universities across the country 500 the rest of the people participated in the competition. Ma Guimei and Ma Bing from the School of Management of XPU led 10 students from the School of Management to participate in the competition. After two days of fierce competition and fighting, XPU team won several awards, the employer team won the national second prize, and the labor team won the national third prize. Ma Guimei and Ma Bing received the “Excellent Instructor” award. Hao Yitian and Sun Wenkai personally won the "First Prize of Excellent Negotiator."
On September 14th, 10 students from XPU were selected through the "First Management School Simulation Collective Negotiation Competition and the 7th National College Simulated Group Negotiation Competition". The employer team was Hao Yitian, Gong Qingzhuo, Lei Wenhao, Zhang Linqing, Zhao Yang and the labor team was Sun Wenkai, Yue Kai, Li Ye, Xu Yan, Wu Xueqin. In the preliminary preparations of the national competition, the students conducted in-depth social research, extensive data collection through various methods, carefully sorted out various enterprise cases, systematically studied relevant knowledge of law, finance, business management, etc., and carried out high-intensity and high-level Simulated confrontation of frequency.
In this competition, the labor and management parties of universities simulation team conducted collective consultation on the working hours, working conditions, labor remuneration and welfare within the specified time. Famous scholars and practitioners in the field of domestic labor relations jointly serve as judges, from the team on the use of labor laws and regulations, interpretation of case background, grasp of negotiation strategies and skills, whether to reach an agreement, role division, etc.
This competition was a full demonstration of the professional knowledge and comprehensive quality of our students. It was also a good opportunity and platform for students to expand their horizons, enhance their professional theoretical level and accumulate professional practical experience. It was an effective way for schools to cultivate high-quality human resource management talents and helped build harmonious labor relations.
