On July 28th, the award ceremony of “Idea More” the First Short video contest for college students in Shaanxi Province was successfully concluded at Baoji University of Arts and Sciences. XPU’s 13 works entered in the top 50 of the competition. Among them, XPU’s student Zhang Xuliang won the Best Director Award for his work “Mystery of Fish”, Liu Hao won the Internet Popularity Award for his work“Walk”, and four teachers, Lei Tong, Zhao Wen, Wang Shan and Zhao Yi, received the Outstanding Instructor Award, and four other works, including "Cosmos New Time and Space" , were shortlisted. XPU won the Outstanding Organization Award.

President Gao Ling and the head of the relevant units attended the ceremony. Gao Ling offered his condolences to the award-winning teachers and students, congratulated them on their achievements, and encouraged them to keep up their great works.  

The short video contest meets the learning and development needs of college students in the era of digital media technology, and is also a platform for the school’s talent training achievements. XPU attaches great importance to it; with the professional teachers carefully guide, students are highly motivated to participate, and has collected 58 high quality works to participate the contest.
