On July 23, Yuan Xinrui, executive vice director of Shaanxi Education Information Development Research Center, and his party conducted a survey on Shaanxi Education Statistics Research Center.The symposium held in the third conference room in XPU’s Jinhua campus.
Vice President, Shaanxi Province Education Statistics Data Research Center Director Yin Yongjian presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Deng Yongmei, executive deputy director of the Shaanxi Education Statistics Research Center, Hu Ximin, director of the network and Information Management Department, Ma Yingcang, associate dean of the Science College, and relevant personnel of the Higher Education and Quality Evaluation Research Center attended the symposium.
Yin Yongjian warmly welcomed the research colleagues of Shaanxi Education Information Development Research Center. He pointed out that the Shaanxi Education Information Development Research Center and the Shaanxi Education Statistics Research Center were established by the Shaanxi Provincial Education Department on basis of Northwest University and XPU to serve Shaanxi’s education undertakings.
The two sides have strong commonalities in management mode, organization construction, achievement outcomes, application service and so on, and have great compatibility in the research field of education big data service, education and teaching. It is hoped that the two research centers will strengthen exchanges, learn from the advanced, collaborative innovation, hand in hand progress.
He introduced the construction, function and research progress of Shaanxi Education Statistics Data Research Center. On the subject of "precision governance based on big data" , Deng Yongmei explained the basic supporting role of education statistics for education planning and decision-making in Shaanxi province, which analyzes the present situation, advantages and disadvantages of the statistical work of educational undertakings in our province, and shares the advantages and disadvantages of the statistical work of educational undertakings under the general background of Wisdom Education, reflections on the reform and development in the 14th five-year plan period, such as the deep integration of educational statistics and modern information technology, the reform and innovation of system and mechanism, the construction of personnel ranks, the improvement of statistical data quality, the analysis and research of statistical big data, the expansion of service objects and the improvement of service ability.
Yuan Xinrui introduced the basic situation of Shaanxi Education Information Development Research Center, experience of Center System Construction, research and innovative exploration of service mode. The two sides also exchanged in-depth views on the planning and implementation of Smart Campus Construction and the 14th five-year development of Education, and jointly planned the future of the 14th five-year development of Education Informatization. This investigation strengthened the communication between the brother units, broadened the horizon of thinking,learned the advanced experience,and reached the development consensus on development.
Recently, the Shaanxi Education Statistics Data Research Center has undertaken the main research work of the 14th five-year plan of Education Development in Shaanxi Province. Based on the big data of education statistics, this work comprehensively sorts out the development achievements of education in our province during the "13th five-year plan" period, and sums up the lack of experience, for the "14th five-year plan" for the development of education planning to provide a full grasp of the state of education development statistics, scientific forecasting, is to implement the spirit of the Party's 19th National Congress, General Secretary Xi on education and the spirit of the provincial education congress, the scientific planning of the future of education in Shaanxi province first move.
Led by this major research project, the center has brought together Professor Li Yan's team from the Center for Population and Social Policy Studies of XPU, Professor Ma Yingcang's team from the Faculty of Science College, Xi'an Jiaotong University and other off-campus research teams, the research was carefully organized and deployed. Through gathering subject team, in-depth communication and discussion, mining data value, research education law, serve the development of education decision-making in Shaanxi Province. The research of this major research project also provides a new research direction for the development of mathematics and management in XPU. In the same period, the Higher Education and Quality Evaluation Research Center also pushed forward the work in the aspects of education policy, summary and evaluation, and served the school planning and decision-making according to the requirements of the school's "14th five-year plan”.
