Works of Grade 2016 graduates majoring in Apparel and Fashion Design in School of Apparel and Art Design were published on Huajiao video platform at 17: 00 pm on July 5, 2020. More than one million people watched the exhibition. The graduation design works are more than 40 series and nearly 30 sets of outstanding design works which were selected from more than 300 series of Apparel and Fashion design and fashion performing majors.

The theme of the graduation project is "Tang Weiyang". Chinese character Wei means no; Yang implies the end, thus Weiyang suggests endless and unfinished, to be continued. "Rich and wonderful Tang poetry, colorful Tang costumes, Buddha statues eroded by wind and rain, magnificent and delicate weaving and embroidery, elegant murals, exquisite patterns of gold and silver products ...", all these historical relics of Sui and Tang Dynasties are the most representative symbols of Chinese great culture, emanating the national image and artistic charm of that era. Being "simple, light and elegant", "fine, delicate and beautiful", the arts of Sui and Tang Dynasty have exuded neglected foreign cultures in history. Foreign ethnic elements can be found through them. This new cultural context is more powerful, bestowing Sui and Tang Dynasty’s arts more imagination and creativity.

Through this graduation design, students created a real artistic image with infinite imagination and concise skills, and explore the future direction of clothing with modern ideology. The possibility of future design is endless. As the epidemic is raging, it was impossible to get their works on the stage as in the past. However, the students' works were displayed in an all-round way through online live broadcast, and the stories behind the scene, such as graduation design guidance, great videos shooting and dynamic video recording, made the whole graduation exhibition more vivid and down-to-earth.
